Seaham Hall’s White Room Restaurant has just been awarded a Michelin star! Head Chef Kenny Atkinson, originally of Newcastle serves up modern British food of the highest quality.  The divine a la carte dinner menu includes scrumptious dishes such as Isle of Skye Scallops, Northumberland Pork served with Isle of Skye Langoustine, Shetland Salmon served with a Risotto of Scarborough Crab and Cornish Seabass.  The Market Menu is priced at GBP 38 per head and the lunchtime menu starts at GBP 17.50.  The White Room Restaurant also offers over 350 wines which have been stored in the original vaulted cellars at Seaham Hall.

von Essen hotelsSample ambrosial delights prepared by the superb chefs of the von Essen Collection as their Culinary Tour kicks off this spring!  Where else can you sample more than one restaurant’s award-winning cuisine at the same meal?  Visiting chefs will bring two ingredients from their home restaurants to the host hotel and each chef will prepare one of three courses.  Chefs Kenny Atkinson, Colin Akrigg and Anthony Spencer will create gastronomic masterpieces during the North England portion, April 14th at Seaham Hall, Sharrow Bay on the 15th, and Callow Hall on the 16th where the menu.
